Is Muc-Off HCB-1 (Harsh Condition Barrier) a ceramic coat or something different?

Just wondering what is out there in addition to the Gtechniq bike ceramic?

There's a plethora of automotive ceramic coatings out there.
I've been using ceramic coatings on my cars and bikes for years.
While I see a considerable difference when applied to cars, there is not so much "wow" effect in bikes.

By throwing the "bike" word the suppliers make it at least twice as much expensive.
See the "Bike Ceramic" from Gtechniq, it's £55 for 15ml, while "Crystal Serum" is £55 for 30ml.

I always recommend CaPro products to any car detailing fan for their simple application and durability.
CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0, Gliss or DLUX are great coatings.

I've got gyeon can coat on my bike. I've used it on my cars to. My bike looks better and glossier then when it came new out the shop, and it makes cleaning so easy.

Muc-Off HCB-1 (Harsh Condition Barrier) is not a ceramic coating. It's a spray-on protective layer designed to prevent rust and corrosion. In contrast, Gtechniq bike ceramic provides a more durable, long-lasting protective coating with a glossy finish.

I wouldn't trust anything Muc Off to do anything even close to what it claims to do.

If you really want ceramic coating (wouldn't Invisiframe be better?) then I'd go for something with a proven record from the automotive market.
