Canyon Strive:ON VS YT Decoy MX

Hi Folks,

Hoping to get a bit of guidance if that's ok.

Been humming and haring about this for some time now and would love to sanity check it with you all.

I'm torn between the Canyon Strive:ON and YT Decoy MX

I predominantly like doing steep(ish) stuff with tight turns and then when I'm out with another group more long rides, trails, and adventure stuff.
I've had a Heckler but it was too big and 29 front and back which was not quite right for me and looking at something a little smaller, agile and mullet I think would suit well.

I've heard whispers that Decoy will come out soonish with the 720wh included and they're only down the road from me which makes things nice if there are any issues with the bike.

That being said I thought I'd ask the wider audience to see what you think and what you would be thinking about?

Go and demo the YT. The geo is a bit more on the playful side compared with other brands of similar travel and spec, particularly the mullet.

On paper I thought the decoy shred was old fashioned and would be crap to ride. In fact it's one of the most fun bikes I've ever ridden! However, you have to deal with YT who are.....not very good. Mine had various issues, but tbf they were nearly all fox related.
