Can I mix tubeless liquids of different brands?

Bought a muc-off kit only to find my Trek Rail 9 is already tubeless. Also fitted Vittoria inserts. All a bit of a first time mess spilling what was in the tyres and also the extra surface area from the inserts, I now can’t hear any free liquid in the tyres. Can I just add the muc-off liquid without knowing what the original liquid is?

Not strictly a good plan, some sealants don't play nice together, but I think the run-of-the-mill latex based ones like Stans and Joes should be fine to mix. In your case I'd probably just clean the tyre out and start fresh with your Muc-Off sealant (y)

Which liquid is blue/grey and has something like sand in it? This is what the tyres came with.
Finish Line possibly? But I'm just guessing. Honestly you're better off just cleaning out the tyre and starting from scratch with your Muc Off. It's not worth risking a reaction, you could end up with a much bigger mess to clean up which will cost you more time and effort (and money, because sealant is not particularly cheap) Once you've done that you'll know exactly where you are, and just stick with Muc Off going forward. You do need to top up your sealant as well so it's better to know exactly what you've got (y) ;)
