2020 Decoy Pro Race. The e8000 motor finally crapped out after 5k+ miles. Apparently, it's impossible to get a replacement for a motor that old, but I was able to source an ep8 with a conversion kit from Germany.
However, I'm running into 1 problem. There is a cable guide above the motor that interferes with the mounting tab of the ep8. See the pics and the difference in that mount between the e8000 and ep8. The e8000 has a channel there that this can fit into, but the ep8 is solid across.
What did YT do on later model frames that fit the ep8. Was this cable guide totally gone? Anybody have any pics of that area? It feels like it's carbon and formed to the frame. I'm pretty sure I can dremel it off, but it's going to be a pain.
