SO my E8014 battery suddenly gave up on me, its only 3 years old and I reckon it has 300 charge cycles max;. Last couple of time I have come to the bike I noticed it was indicating completely flat. Came to chard it yesterday and I got flashing orange light on the charger and the first green led on battery flashing and the second led solid, I found the error code for this in the booklet but it is no good. I suspect its electronic circuit isse in the battery and not the cells. I am going to speak to Madisons (uk importer) today but dont hold out much hope !!!. New battery in uk is £400, there are a couple on ebay for about £170 both claim batteries are 12 months old and show fully charged state. I have watched a video of a bloke in Wales (UK) repairing such a pack and its way way way above my level of electronics
Anybody have any thoughts on going for a used pack ???
