broken Purion Mount

Hi all

my purion was loose on the bar today, when I got home I realised it was actually broken. I had to jump into a Zoom call without looking hugely

I can't see how it hooks in, is that a replaceable part?

Exactly the same happened to mine a few weeks ago after an innocuous low speed spill. Had to replace the whole Purion unit as the local bike shop were unable to source anything other than the whole unit from Bosch and I don't think the hinge part which is broken is a separate part to the main moulding.

I'm taking a look at whether it is possible to machine a heavier duty clamp or case from aluminium which the innards can be transplanted into but I don't hold out much hope...

I might try and glue something to it

Failing that, I suppose I could upgrade to a kiox

Maybe try to epoxy a couple of cable ties in there.

The little bit of broken plastic was still in the other part of the mount, I’ve blobbed it back in with some epoxy. I’m not sure it will hold but it’s worth a quick shot.

They are such a bad design, the weak part that will always break is part of the main body. Just broke mine yesterday exactly the same place.

Did any of ye get a fix for this? Happened mine this week and I only got the back last weekend.
