EZ out. Generally nothing ez about using an "ez out" but that bolt is aluminium so it should be relatively ez. Drill a small pilot hole in the broken bolt remaining in the frame and then use the reverse threaded "ez out" in the pilot hole. I'd probably put some thread penetrating oil in there first. Those mounting bolts should have good grease or anti sieze before you tourque them. I use anti sieze. That way u get the proper tourque and they should back out when you want them too, in case you didnt use anti sieze

As I was freaking out and feeling sick to my stomach, I started googling....

If you go to 5:33 in the video below. I think you can drop the motor and replace the nut insert (and broken bolt) with a new nut insert. Reinstall motor and put in new bolt.

All About Brose Motors in Specialized Turbo 1.2, 1.3 and 2.1 Levo, Kenevo, Vado and Como Ebikes

I contacted LBS since this is under warranty and would wan them to perform the work to ensure no warranty issues in the future.

Hopefully you can get this done under warranty as it appears the bolts are only available in a set for about $60. :(

Due to the chain guide, this screw can only be screwed in a few threads. This screw is simply short here. Too much tensile force is generated on the 4 threads that are connected, so it breaks there.
It would probably have been expensive to make one bolt longer than the other three.
It's broken for me too. I was able to take it out with a "broken screw extractor" tool. There was no need to remove the engine from the frame.
I didn't put the chain guide back, it's completely unnecessary. My chain has never fallen before since, even though I have been running 2000km without a chain guide on difficult terrain.

Broken screw removal tools:

A 5 mm diameter hole must be drilled into the broken screw and then this tool must be screwed into the hole to the left as it is left-handed. When it gets stuck, it starts unscrewing the broken screw. The broken screw can be removed in 5 minutes using this method.

On my Levo this bolt is much longer than the other 5.
