Bosch Uk broken into.

A friends bike is in LBS (motor is kerput) and he is being told the delay with obtaining a new warranty Bosch motor is because Bosch Uk has been broken into. Has anyone out there heard about this or knows anything about it ???

Great! Just when my bike threw an error 500 last Saturday and the dealer is saying it "might" need a new motor.

I had 500 pop up randomly for about 2 months. Then it died. Nee motor under warranty and sold the bike with nee motor without riding it

Yes i have been told this by wheelbase .
My 12 month old CX gen 4 motor has been sent to Germany for assessment over error codes , ive just been told it could be 2 week turn around or 2 months .
Perfect timing when i have 3 weeks off for a Christmas and intended to be out on my bike most days

Not sure that's true , are they a bosch service centre LBS ?

That smells like BS, I would be asking why Bosch UK are not capable of looking at.and sorting out an error code?

Apparently Bosch are also having Problems with there IT systems lol sand out duplicate or incorrect email responses .
MY motor had been sent yet i have been informed my the shop ,they say are now going to send out a replacement motor .

Well on the plus side both Bosch and your bike shopare telling you similar things, fingers crossed.
