Hello,
at the end off my last ride Kiox display went crazy!
It is stuck in a kind of off/On looping. If I press for some time the on/off button it switchs off. But if I press again it goes on and then starts the Loop again.
Any idea?

Faulty buttons would be my guess - either the buttons on the seperate controller, or the buttons on the kiox itself. If you take the kiox out of the holder and switch it on, does it work normally? If so then that suggests your handlebar buttons are faulty. If its still plays up when not in the holder then that suggest the kiox itself is faulty.

I'd guess some water has found its way inside the controller or the kiox.

It stays like that in or out of the socket.
I´ve swaped the kiox on my bike with other unit and works fine.
My gess is like you say, but this should have rain resistence, shouldn´t it?

yes, theyre supposed to be water resistant, and I suspect they are as long as the rubber USB cover is properly closed, the problem is that its too easy for that rubber cover to come loose,or not be closed fully . My display failed a few weeks ago , bosch replaced it under warranty no questions.

On the new display I have put some insulation tape over the USB port rubber cover in an attempt to keep it fully closed.

Tanks for you info.
How long did they take to replace it?

It took about a week to get an appointment with a bosch dealer for them to look at the bike, then another few days for bosch to send a replacement display - I think it was 2 weeks all in for me.

Bosch wont just send out a new display based on photos etc, they will want you to take your bike to a bosch dealer and for them to run the diagnostics process on the system and send the diagnostic report to bosch. It takes about 10 mins for the bosch dealer to run the diagnostic report.

I had to send mine back to Silverfish (Mondraker dist) who sent the diagnostic report off to Bosch.
It took 2 weeks for the replacement to arrive.

I had this, after an off! Basically if your using magnets then the terminals aren’t making enough contact, you can test by just pushing down on the device, solution is to use a small nut that screws the device tight, I’ve broken the bracket on mine too, hoping I can get a new one

Just to report as I think worth mention what can be the advantage of a good local shop services. They are waiting for solution from bosch. But they call this morning to collect the bike with a new kiox display from store stock.
