Bosch Gen 4, resistance in cranks

when I have the bike on the stand, there's a definite point when rotating the cranks where there is quite a bit of resistance, for maybe 1/4 of the crank turn
Have checked everything external and nothing I can see should be responsible
I have another bike with the same motor and no resistance at all on that

Any ideas? Do I have a motor issue?

Remove the chain and if the resistance is still there, you may really have a problem with the motor.

I did already, and yes it's still there
