Not sure I'd want it. I'd have to test ride it first. I hope it stays as an optional extra.

It was available to try at the NEC show, but I couldn’t be bothered to queue up to try it tbh. At 800g extra weight and pretty ugly it looks like something that might evolve into a decent product in time, but probably not anytime soon.

I emailed a couple of mates who are not members of this Forum and attached the link to the vid. Each of their reactions was negative and on the lines of "OK for a commuter bike, but for the trails, how boring!" My sentiments too.

I suppose this is the first generation so lets give it 5 years to see how much small, lighter and better they can get it

Considering that skidding is a necessary technique at times, who would want it on the trail?

Yup, this is not aimed at trail riders, and personally I wouldn't want it on any bike.
