Bleeding Sramano brakes?

I've just swapped my Sram DB8 levers for Shimano M6100, as I prefer these levers and as a consequence, the brakes are now stronger. As I used the original Sram hoses (with Shimano barb/olive at the lever) I have a question, the front hose would benefit from being a little longer, so I have a length of Shimano hose, do I use a Sram specific barb/olive at the caliper (as shown below) and can I just flood the hose from the caliper end using a syringe and then bleed from the lever using the usual Shimano method?

If you don't get a good answer on here, try Epic Bleed Solutions, they do respond.

Now I've had a few rides to settle on an ideal lever position and taking into account the fork sag when riding, the hose length is fine.
