Rode a 2020 levo last week, visited the shop and they have a 2020 kenevo available (just need to test some sizes) and I think im sold on it over the whyte rs 180.

Now I dont quite have enough to go for the highest spec (700w and triple clamps) so the regular is probably going to be what I settle on.

Any advice before I do so? Been riding a haibike hardtail and now realise I'm pushing myself more, want to try more bike parks, and keep the HT as a fire road bike.

With the lack of screen can I use a garmin as a dashboard for the bike without needing my phone with me?

What else have you all noticed is pretty much is must do first thing?

I went from an E8000 HT to the previous Kenevo. It was a good move for me, which I should have made earlier but was stubborn and was convinced I didn't need an FS bike because I could do all the DH tracks just as fast as anyone else on a hardtail .. I couldn't - I'm crap :) I just fell off a lot.

I was convinced I would need a screen .. you don't. I used a phone quite a bit in a clamp at the start, but rarely bother now.

Buy it, don't think about it. Ride it. Enjoy it.

Especially don't pre-think all the things you might have to change .. because you probably won't have to.

In my head, I can but the comp, the bigger battery and fox40, sell the forks that I take off and I have an extra battery for around the same cost? If that would work?

The comp is 5k and the expert is 7k, pretty much retail price but its a local shop, most of the people around here use them and there reliable.

If I buy the comp, fox 40s and 700w battery, I think i could sell the bombers as new and I have the expert spec with a spare battery for roughly the same cost?

With regards to the app/phone compatibility-

I wear a Samsung watch and tend to leave my phone at home (have komoot and Spotify on the watch) so didn't really want to use or have to take my phone, thats why i wanted a display-
Would a garmin work the same way? Have turn by turn and control of the bike through that?

You could always pay £5950 for the expert.

I think quite a few people have negotiated to upgrade the 500 to a 700 on the comps when they've bought them, if that is another option ??

Unfortunately due to current demand/stock bikes are selling themselves. If it was 6 months ago the LBS said they would of been in a position to. There happy to change the tyres to my liking, and include a fox dropframe.

Is that an online price?

If you need an S3 size I can tell you where to go one for that price they had 4 but expected to have sold out until November by end of last week but you might be lucky.

Im not sure whether its a s3/s4 I need size wise, they have both there, one is the comp, one is the expert (not sure which one is which size) but im going down later to try them and see what the fit is like. I do have a feeling I'm going to end up with the s3 as I generally prefer a smaller bike

I think S3 is medium but they did grow versus last model.

We have had 7 bikes from there and never set foot inside the shop.

Just handle bars and wheel to attach when arrives in box.
