Bike locking/App/Bluetooth

So I'm using the Haibike App and have my setup details logged etc.

Should this app connect to my bike via Bluetooth and allow locking/unlocking etc?

The app doesn't seem to be updating to show battery status etc.

The main display on the bike has a Bluetooth icon but I've yet to work out what it's function is?

Any help much appreciated.

This is not my area of expertise but I don’t think the primary connection can be Bluetooth because it works for me far beyond the range of Bluetooth locking and unlocking the bike and showing info on battery etc. I thought it was via a mobile phone connection??

Are we talking about a Flyon, than the connection goes by mobile phone.
Put your bike outside, wait for connection, also gps, and than you should read the data in the app.
