Battery disconnect when going over jump.

My battery has just enough play that, when going over a jump, it looses connection. You can replicate this by grasping the battery and pushing it up toward the stem. Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any built in adjustments to tighten up the gap? If not, my fix is going to be applying electrical tape at the top of the battery holder housing to take up the slack.

I didn’t see anything mentioned in the manual. Did I miss something? That would be perfect if you can indeed adjust the gap.

Which is your bike and battery?

Mine has an external battery BT-E8016 and it is possible to adjust the upper mounting bracket to reduce battery play.

But I do not know for internal batteries
