As I’ve had a bike up sale lately I’ve been aware of a new scam doing the rounds, quite a few people around my area have been caught out.
I had about 8 people trying it on with me, easy enough to spot.
They ask no questions about the bike or maybe one questions and want to come buy it straight away. Every time I’ve answered saying “ nothing leaves me till the money is cleared” they just go silent😀

Putting your details into someone's phone for a bank transfer and then checking the other persons phone for confirmation  . Seriously people are not that daft, are they ?

Cash or bank transfer into my account, verified by phone call to my bank. Nothing moves till transfer is confirmed.

A lot of cash talk about, personally i cannot be arsed with cash on bigger amounts, it just means I have to go to the bank, that and the fact there's fake notes around.
No need to ring the bank either for a transfer unless you don't have internet banking.

On an unrelated topic, I’ve just inherited £50million from my great uncle in Botswana and I’d be happy to share, just send me your bank details and we’ll get it sorted (y)
