Sold my alloy wild fs this summer to go back to normal MTB was never really happy slugging it up hill.
Saw this m20 with 35% off at 4700 euro and whoops..
Are the e13 cranks still an issue for people?

I think the e13 cranks are more of an issue on the shimano motors Not bosch
I've also never had issues with them personally they far outlasted the frame LOL

Got an e-mail from Orbea yesterday, there's some discounts to be had on the outgoing Wild FS - 10% at least.

Ah right
Mine were 2000 miles old and still fine i only pulled them off in the end to put shorter ones on
What happens to them ?

No matter how tight I torqued the drive side crank bolt, it would back out. Even with red lock-tite.

And with it constantly coming loose it wore the crank out. It got to the point where I’d have to tighten it ever ride and by the end of the ride it would be loose again.

My LH crank arm fell off while riding a very steep downhill. This resulted the motor drive tearing the back of my leg open = trip to the ER and stitches
Definitely keep an eye on your crank bolts. I’ve heard of many issues with the buttery soft E13 cranks. Apparently an upgrade to Hope or similar crank arms resolves this issue.

I installed 160mm cranks from RaceFace and had zero issues with them while I waited for the 155mm Hope cranks to come back into stock. Which I just installed on my bike.
