Axs battery not included?

So my Spectral on cf9 arrived today and I just put it on charge to discover the isn't a battery for the axs derailleur anywhere. Should there be?

There absolutely should be , did it have the red protector where the battery should be ??

Yeah it has the red protector but nowhere in the package can I see the battery. It is a bit of a mess so gonna tidy but I'm pretty much certain it isn't there.
I'll contact canyon soon.
