I used to work in a gold mine, an open cut. I used to drill and blast on the surface. We had these washing machines that you'd swear were made by gold panners . They worked like a cement mixer, and they even had lips around the inside, just like a gold pan. I'd wash my overalls and always see some gold dust in those lips at the end of a wash.

Most of that shinny gold coloured stuff through the quartz is really asbestos.....but who cares - lithium is the gold of the future and we've got plenty of that

Hunting for gold in 50C degree heat in the middle of the desert where poachers come and steal all your fuel and belongings. Bonkers! I:love it. The dress attire and the lingo... the Aussies are rough as fuck lol?
