Anyone in Canada ordered parts from the US site?

I tried to order some spacers today, but see the Canadian site doesn't have many parts available for sale. I tried the main European site, and the spacers are available, but no shipping to Canada. They also have the battery available...

Found the US site, and the spacers are available there as well. But, for shipping country I could only select USA or Cyprus. I presume there is a bug on their site and we should be able to select Canada instead of Cyprus? I've also emailed YT. Sometimes they respond quickly. No battery available here tho....

Never from the US site - was told awhile ago that that was not possible (but no reason why). That said, the Canadian parts site still comes up. I have ordered a hanger from here, but like you said still waiting for a battery - Parts

Thanks for the link. Only a few parts available from there though. Hopefully YT respond soon. I've got lot's of parts that are now starting to wear.

I emailed them recently and Shaun sent me pivot bearings, seals and axles. I was wondering about a battery and he said end of june or early july. Neither the pivot hardware or battery was showing on the site, that i could find so i emailed them. Cant remember if it was yt canada and it got bumped to yt usa or i emailed yt usa. I did end up vorresponding mostly with yt usa(Shaun) when my motor blew last summer so i might have just emsiled yt usa. He got back to me in 5 or 6 days to confirm my address was still the same and i had the parts only a fww days after that. Keep me posted if you hear batteries are available. Ill do the same. Looks like i have to email them on the latest e8000. It has an awful creak

Great I will do.

Are you sure its the e8000? I thought a terrible creak might have been coming from my motor, but the LBS dropped the motor, cleaned everything out and serviced the cranks. It was the cranks.

I don't think there is a Canadian YT Parts outlet. Last year I bought a Decoy battery from YT Canada and was charged $961.29 but later when they could not get me one, refunded me only $914.50. Due to a "fluctuating exchange rate " I was told. So it cost me $46.97 just to attempt to get a battery from YT Canada.

There is one. There's just not much available:

Thanks, ill double check the cranks. The 160 miranda cranks have been nice but the aluminium and the design dont look like a top quality product. Reasonably priced though. What was creaking on the cranks? The axle/crankarm interface?
I have new pedals, put antisieze and retourques the motor mount bolts, all new pivot hardware, regreased my headset, swapped the bar, rebuilt the wheeks, checked the csu on the fork and serviced the fork. Its definitely around the motor area, cranking on the pedals

I actually had a "double creak". They serviced the cranks (tightened, lubed, etc), and also "All pivot mounts as well as motor mounts have been cleaned, greased, assembled and torqued." Looks like you might have done the same. I do hope it's not your motor.

Thanks. I just pulled my cranks and doubled up on the grease and cranked them down. I hope thats it too. Motor went at the same time last year, just as the alpine opened and as i was set to get a 2nd battery. Good thing the park opened at the same time. Road the bike with the blown motor all park season. This motor has a few extra km's than the last but only 4 or 5 park days. Id rather buy another battery and catch up on my missed alpine days then buy or warrantee a motor. Alpine off the top of the bike park opens on the weekend so ill give it a good shakedown to see if i got it

YT Canada got back to me. Frame bearings and spacer set are heading my way. I've found the guys from YT in Canada and the US great to deal with.

Battery might be available "next month". They've been saying that all year haha. I decided to get a spare bike instead :)

Nice, similar experience. Glad it worked out for you. Ill msg them in a week or 2 and check on batteries then, and let u know. We can alternate so it doesnt seem like we're hounding them?
