Anyone have experience with E*Thirteen Helix Core OR Helix Race E spec cranks?

Hello! Looking at changing out the stock crankset on my Giant Reign e+. The stock Praxis EC-1's are still functional, but having snapped a pair of Praxis cadet cranks in the past I am looking to upgrade sooner than later as I could see this happening with these. A bit baffling that Giant didn't spec the HD version of this crankset, honestly. Praxis was good to me in the past with a warranty replacement and I've considered just upgrading to their HD version, but it's quite heavy and there are other options available....

I'm interested in the E*Thirteen offerings but have not found any rider reviews on the Helix Core model, and only one review on the Helix Race which are a pretty premium price, putting them up against Hope or PINND. Both appear to be perfectly compatible with the Sync Drive motor. Anyone have experience with these?

I have the 155 e13 helix race espec alloy crank arms that I'm using for my Crestline buildout. Happy to answer any questions that don't involve using them yet. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I am currently using the Helix Core e*spec Alloy Crank that came with my bike. They are just fine but something I really like is the little disk rubber that came with the crank arm.

Looks like nothing but it protect a lot my motor - both version have it.

Depending on how hard you ride or not you will not see any difference with the race but they might look better for some and 50g lighter - careful about offset so as there are 2 different ones on the race.

I guess if you crack your stock one, you could go with the race or just spare money buy the core and see it you break them.

The only reason I would honestly change them would be the size, got 160mm and I would like to have 150/155. But 5mm is
just not worth spending money to me right now.

I use them and they are great!

Thank you for your replies.

I've bent two Sram X0 crank arms recently from pedal strikes so I'm hoping to find something a bit stronger.

How are yours holding up?

Do you think it's worth paying extra for the E13 Helix Race?

Since I bent 2 sets of Helix Core cranks ethirteen gave me a significant discount for the Helix R cranks. They look pretty nice, the a bit are lighter then the Helix Core cranks and they were flawless since.

However, they are cranks...what should I say besides weight and look :)

Edit: They come with an OEM protection wrap and some crank boots.
