So I got the bike to recover from a hip fracture. Using eco mainly on trails.

Do we think there is much health benefit on e-bike?

With those stats, it would be a good idea to get a review of your medical history to see how you got to those limits. I'm not saying that all guys do cycling for the soul, but you have to do something about the arrhythmia. You know that yourself. Many people don't take care of their knees when they get on a bike, others think it's great for weight loss. In both cases, you should consult your doctor first, so you know if the sport is contraindicated. You should also have your back and muscles checked. Too much strain on your back.

Yes, If I ride first eco mode for 45-60 min for fitness, even if I have to walk a tech ascent. Then blast trail/turbo mode for the next 90+ min back to the trailhead...rewarding myself with FUN! And a nice post-ride stout🍻 At 53 clyde-rider...it's all about saddle time and quicker recovery. I can pedal twice as long, go twice as fast (that's very gratifying), experience half the recovery time, and ten times the joy! The modern PAS E-mtb is a frikin top three 21st century, 3-Bs iconic invention!

I had my e bike for 4 years now, riding 12 hours a week instead of 8. Lost 20lbs, and i wasn't fat to begin with.

I never ride in turbo(Bosch) because it's just too hard to control in technical uphill.
