Does you phone have some gps power save maybe ?

Probably run Strava and/or Blevo at the same time to try to work out if it's an app problem or a GPS/Power issue.

MC can definitely be a flaky on some phones for some reason.

I use an iPhone and I don’t use any GPS power save options. I think those three points on the route are where I started, where I actually looked at the app on the ride and where I finished.

Go to settings tell app to have location always on
