Last night. From garage. All locked onto the wall. They used large crowbar to pop the window in side garage door after not being able to force the door. Climbed through window and crowbared the padlock on the wall. Must have then removed wheels to get it all through the window.
not individually insured.

definitly targeted job. They took the charger too but didn't touch or Rummage through anything else. I recently sold another bike and had two visiters come and see it. Their names will be passed on.

Thanks buddy. Theft on your own property makes you quite paranoid. It's obvious they new exactly what to do and what to get. Nothing opportunistic about it.

It's one of the reasons I opted for the Kiox display which imobilises the motor on the bike when removed. Whilst it's not gonna stop the bike getting pinched, it would leave me with a little satisfaction knowing the bike is completley useless to them without the display unit.

Freakin freaks stealing a man's bike. Or a lady's bike or anything. Very sorry to hear.
I think policies that cover house and garage are a good idea if that's feasible. if that isn't feasible or even if it is, I'd recommend a high level anchor fixed onto concrete with dynabolts and something like a Hiplok Homie 4kg+ chain lock or ABUS equivalent.

Would take a while to get through with a noisy angle grinder.

I think that if they are determined enough they will get what they want. I think insurance which includes damage as well as theft Probably best. This was a planned job.

For me, bike security is just about making your bike more difficult than those around it. With a planned job like this, with time out of sight of everyone, you're pretty screwed.

I'm just waiting to get my leasing sorted out for my new Levo. Insurance included as the leasing company needs it.

This is why I try to avoid ever having anyone come to my place when selling items. And if an item isn't small enough to be easily transported and shown elsewhere, I'll drag it outside and keep all doors/windows closed and anything else out of sight. It's too easy for wandering eyes and loose lips to lead to a later theft.

I keep it simple, sticking to this is the item I'm selling, and no discussions about anything else.

This is also why I keep the bikes chained even when in the shed. That and a motion sensor for lights and wireless BlinkXT camera. I have an IFTTT recipe set up that if motion is detected on the camera to send me an SMS.

I don't expect it to be used as 'evidence' per-se, but rather as a means to let me grab my baseball gear and properly put it back in shed where it belongs. If along the way it manages to persuade a thief to reconsider their efforts, well, all the better.

Sorry to hear that some low life has stolen your bikes. I’d be gutted if that happened to me. As part of my bike insurance policy I have to use gold secure locks and my bikes are anchored or secured to something immovable object. I’m also a bit paranoid and try to keep things out of sight and careful about leaving and returning home. Also make sure you have proper security settings on apps like Strava ... only friends or followers that you trust and set a decent security zone so your location can’t be identified.
You could always have one of those trackers installed? ?

Soul destroying knowing that you have been targeted, it does make you wonder when a technically advanced company such as Specialized will implement some kind of theft prevention into the Mission Control App, either some kind of tracking software or some kind of immobiliser which doesn't allow for the control system to recognise the battery rendering the bike useless, maybe in the future, hope you get some justice.

I keep googling on bike trackers and have yet to settle on anything. I'd like to get "something" but am leery of it turning into yet another fee every month, eventually exceeding the cost of the bike!

My house insurance wouldn’t cover such an expensive bike so had to go to a specialist cycle insurer.

I Actually insured my levo before I even picked it up, my bikes are insured under my house and contents insurance, it's $600 a year for peace of mind.

unfortunately contents insurance will only cover bikes up to so much value, about £500. You need to itemize your bike and pay extra for it. Sadly I have since found out that a £6000 bike would have only cost me an extra £9 a month. That would cover loss or partial loss and damage from anywhere in the world, not just at home.

if you are reading this I plead you to ring your home insurance company and get a quote. I'm obviously quite paranoid right now and don't want to give specifics but I have now taken huge steps to secure my garage, which I should have done before now. These bikes are really hot items for thieves. They want what we have but can only get it by stealing them.

I feel sorry for those people without insurance that took out finance as they’re still paying for a bike they haven’t got anymore. Great advise to get the insurance and also ensure you read the policy as some will have specifics regarding securing the bike otherwise you’ll end up not getting any payout if you’ve had a loss. Fucking scumbags!!! That's what insurance I've got. Definitely worth paying a bit extra on top of your contents insurance. Handy for when you go on bike trips to morzine etc. Knowing that my bikes are fully covered in back of van.
