Another chain but cassette also

Hi guys I'm a complete noob to all this i have a 2019 levy and looking for recommendations for a new chain and cassette,i won't be fitting it but will be getting a friend who is good at this to do it plus any tips.

No budget it’s a mixture of hills and commuting but believe shimano is better I think.

I still have the original chain and rear cassette

I prefer Shimano XT . Shimano 12 speed are very difficult to find ATM . 11 sp might be available .
SRAM seems no problem . If you commute you may want higher gears for top end speed . 34 or 36 front sprocket up from the stock 32 .
