Analogue, full power or low power?

Currently ride a normal hardtail and looking to upgrade to a full sus, done ride anything mega steep or rough so would probably go for something about 140mm travel with 150mm forks. I usually ride by myself or with extremely fit analogue riders. At the moment I'm not that fit or light (I'm about 100kg) when I go out for a 2 hour ride even by myself I'm knackered as my heart rate has been too high. My budget would run to used carbon full sus analogue or alloy ebikes.
I've ridden full power bikes before and am impressed with them but they are a bit heavy if you do run out and a bit unwieldy on the trail.
Is the likes of an EXE just offsetting the extra weight you are hauling with the power from the motor or would there be genuine advantage to someone like me.
Or i just go old school, get a light carbon full sus with 12 speed gears and get fitter?
Be gentle!
