Hi everyone.
Thank you for accepting me into your group.
I have BMS controller AST-01 G/B 112-3458F to repair.
I checked it and found out nothing damaged except FUSE. I understand that AN49511A and R5F2134 must be reset.
Probable I have RENESAS programmer, but I don't understand how make it without full dump.
Despite of that fact, I tread to replace AN49511A from another BMS (not the same) which have given to me the owner.
(Sorry, I am not EMTB user, I am engineer).
So, would somebody help me to advise what way is correct?
From the pictures is obviously that AN49511A send to R5F2134 ALARM and FAULT.
R5F2134 Does not allow AN49511A to start.
Beside on AN49511A has Address: 0x10 (Status Register) that can be changed (HOW).
I would be appreciate any help.
Thank you advance.

Hi there everyone and thanks for accepting me into this forum of bike fanatics.

Alex, I have a similar battery to repair, an AST-01-35s.
The damage on the pcb was clear, the zeners on the mosfet circuit fried. After a quick inspection I noticed that the 2 smd 1206 fuses with the letter "N" were open. And worst yet the regulator with mark 3SGH (sot23-6) was in short on pins 1 and 2 (GND and 5V). I can't find a replacement to that component, and i'm afraid that the MCU was affected with some kind of overvoltage.
In my case the power fuse (30A) is good, but if you have that problem (resetting) after repairing that part i think i will have worst ones because it has much more components damaged.
I wait an answer for you as quick as possible.
THANKS

Hi there, thanks for the information.
I replaced the damaged component with a S-8239AAH-M6T1U (OVERCURRENT MONITORING IC FOR MULTI-SERIAL-CELL PACK), fuses and mosfets all new but the BMS doesn't want to start. The green led next to the switch blinks when I plug the charger but the controller board doesn't send the pull down signal to the charger to start the cycle of charging (brown wire from the charging side) and the charger remains with the green led fixed (like when the battery is fully charged). The battery is at 32,85V, each cell with aproximately 6,6V (discharged).
I could try to replace the AN49511A but i think that doens´t justify the work and price because it can go sideways too.

With the battery connected or with a power supply? I checked with an external power supply and both were level high. But i thought that was normal because the battery was disconnected.

Obviously with the battery connected.
makes not sense without battery, I guess.
But I have Alarm in both situations.

Recently I checked AN49511A on an another main board.
Without battery connected it is not in Alarm state.
But my board is always in Alarm. (without or with battery)
It means that something wrong on my board, or my AN49511A defective.

I have checked circuit that forms OV and didn't find anything unusual.
I think this is my problem:
"The comparison result is stored to the register every 1 ms (typ), and status register flag (0x11) is set when ALARM signal is generated. The flag is cleared by writing 1."

I don't understand how to write "1". Does you?
