Most people suggest I pick an Altitude vs Instinct since it's an e-bike it can handle more suspension. I get this suggestion, but I'm having a hard time accepting it. If I lived in BC then it totally would make sense but I'm riding more trails.
I'm currently on a Giant Stance E+, which is a 120mm/130mm emtb and I certainly need better shocks/more travel. But I also love my bike for my terrain. I'm just concerned a more travel bike will be too much suspension for 80% of our trails. Does that make sense?
I'm in Eastern Canada, so we aren't talking about big mountains. It's more like very root-filled trails with many hills, but none are more than a minute or two up/down.
