All reviews recommend upgrading tires - worth it?

I ordered my M10 with upgraded Minion tyres front and rear and I regret it for where I ride. They are heavy and slow rolling, as soon as you hit that 25km/h speed it is very noticeable unless you mostly ride gravity trails, grip for days though.

Since weight isn't really an issue with me, I went with DHF/DHR Maxxis Minions DD

Been riding my H15 for about a month now. Do not like the Rekon. I'll be moving the Dissector to the rear and putting an Assegai on the front.
