The issue is that it's not "just" a cable.

Maybe it's a DC/DC converter from the 36V of the battery to 6V...

The real question would be what is the output on the motor connector?

Thought I'd dig up this old thread as it's the closest I can find to what I am looking for. Has anyone hardwired lights to an e6000 without buying the SM-DUE01? I'm assuming it is just a step down unit in a terminal block with a plug end and no way could it be worth that much IMO - I am waiting on a tool kit to open the drive unit and test the output.
I was originally looking at getting the Lezyne Ebike Macro Drive 1000 LED Headlight but since learnt in other forums here that I am restricted to 1 Amp max.
Any experience and suggestions with hardwiring lights to e6000 would be greatly appreciated :)
