29er to 27.5 speed?

Hey peeps,

If I change my 29er rear to a mullet and don’t tweak adjust the sensor, will my assistance be faster or slower? For example, the smaller wheel rotating, will it slow the bike or ride faster in real time?

since the wheel is smaller, the max assisted speed will also be lower.

You will travel a smaller distance per rev, the assistance will cut out sooner, your spin out speed will be slower. But your acceleration will be faster.
If you don't have a flip chip to restore the geometry, your pedal strikes will increase and your hill-climbing ability will deteriorate. But your descending capability will improve.
