After helping a friend on trying to buy a new E-Bike, I've had my head turned as well by those new 2025 Cube Stereo Hybrid One44 800 models, I'm particularly liking the HPC AT 800 which has amazing spec and looks great in the dark and gold colours, only problem is the price but there are a few places offering a discount which helps bring the price down on both, seriosly tempted on one of these myself.

And also liking the One44 HPC TM 800 model as well which is cheaper by a £1k and still has lovely spec, the colour is anot as nice as the AT colour but the price is decent.

Any thoughts on these two bikes?

SLX has best value, only reson to go TM or any other model is if you like those colours more.
I think a slightly lighter and better fork and a Fox X shocks.
A more fancy/electronic transmission, but more expensive to replace when worn or trashed.

I went to look at a TM on Tuesday to replace my 160TM.
The SLX looks much better value and to be honest the thought of wrecking that rear mech puts me off. Yes it’s a better spec, better shock but £1000 more. Looks like the SLX for me

Stuck my head in at leisure lakes bikes today to look at the 144 TM and I liked what I saw. Currently on a 180/170 orange phase and was thinking of waiting for the 177 TM but think it will be too similar bike / travel to what I’ve currently got . I’m tempted to pull the trigger on the 144. Apart from 3 months on a Specialized with brose I’ve always been Shimano motor e8000 and currently ep801 so looking forward to trying this new Bosch with the 800 battery . I’ve got axs dropper and gx eagle rear Mech on the 🍊and if I’m honest it has been bullet proof (plenty of offs and catching roots)
only thing putting me off is not keen on cables through headset but it’s not the end of the world, also liking on the cube the wireless gearing is wired 😂so no more forgetting to charge the axs batteries.
