I can’t seem to find any info on it, this with the mini remote would be spot on. The 200 just seems a bit vulnerable in a crash.

Does anyone have anymore info on this or release date? Would love to replace Kiox 300 and led remote with something like this

Just seen this. I liked the Purion 200, but was told by Bosch that it couldn't be used in conjunction with the top tube mounted LED controller, whereas it looks like this Purion 400 can.

I just wish there was more information and a retrofit price. Hopefully they can make it available pretty quickly. Always seems to take ages for this sort of thing to be available as a separate part.

Glad I didn't buy a Kiox now. All I wanted was a small display for battery percentage, speed, time, basic info...

I guess there is a new integrated top tube display not quite announced yet. Various bikes have been announced today that feature the regular System Controller in a big ugly blanking plate on the top tube.

Anyone know yet what the Purion 400 can display? Is it customisable at all? Seems to take up a lot of the screen just telling you what mode you're in, even though the LED controller makes that pretty obvious. I'd rather be able to customise it and see the time, battery percentage, etc.

I am after a little help.

I am looking to add the 400 to my bike and I am a little confused on what cabling I need.

I have the Cube StereoHybrid One55 2024 with the smart system and the wireless remote and the controller in the middle. As a result there is no wireing out to the bars.

I can't work out exactly what cable I need to fit the Purion 400.

There is talk of a Y cable but I can't work out if I need to replace the whole cable down to the motor and back up or can I Y at the controller and out.

Need to figure out the length as well.

Has anyone upgraded theirs?

I actually just contacted Bosch with the exact same question. I also have the System Controller and Mini Remote and I assume the y-cable is needed. I’ll let you know what they say when they respond.

Thanks. It just can't seem to find a straight answer on it.

Looking at this my conclusion is I need to replace cable and bring it out to the bar and then Y into the system comtroler.

There is a cable that's just under £50 and I don't really want to be spending that lol

This is the reply from Bosch.

What to do:

- Select the correct handlebar diameter and order the corresponding Purion 400.
- Order an additional display cable of the appropriate length. You can easily measure this yourself: from the later position of the Purion 400 to the System Controller.
- Check whether the existing cable of the System Controller is long enough to reach the later position of the Purion 400. If not, you can obtain an appropriate cable from a Bosch eBike dealer.
- Mount the Purion 400 onto the handlebar with the help of the operating instructions.
- Loosen the screw of the System Controller and pull it out of the top tube. Unplug the existing cable from the System Controller, feed it through the frame and connect it to one of the two sockets on the Purion 400.
- Connect the additional display cable to the second socket of the Purion 400 and route it to the System Controller.
- Insert it there as well and secure the System Controller again with the screw.

Tip: Alternatively, you can ask a Bosch eBike retailer to install a Y-cable for you.

- Guide the free Y-arm of the cable out of the frame and insert it into the display mount.
- Close off the second socket of the Purion 400 with a dummy plug (not included in the Purion 400 order set, must be ordered together with the Y-cable).

In summary a Y-cable may or may not be the best option for your eBike and measuring will be required to identify the best cabling option for the Purion 400 install.
