I just bought the base model coming from a kenevo sl 1.1 that I love just need more power

Everything is upgraded on the kenevo sl

It will be a while for me to afford to upgrade everything in the Santa Cruz

What can you guys tell me about the Santa Cruz bullit especially comparing it to a specialized kenevo sl?

I really like e-bike because they allow me to fine tune my suspension and become much better at riding figuring dialing my suspension perfectly where as with e-bikes I was too tired to think clearly to fine tune my suspension. It was too much of a chore to do it with an analog bike. It’s taken me about 100 miles to get my kenevo dialed perfectly or at least I think because now I’m riding the way I’ve always wanted to.

It’s just on very long trails with super steep inclines the kenevo doesn’t have enough power for me and I have to take breaks climbing. I’m hoping the Santa Cruz will fix that on the climbs for me so I can do truly epic long trail rides.

I really wanted a crestline but could not pass up the deal on the Santa Cruz bullit right now and the crestline is just too expensive. If money ever permits I’d buy a crestline in a heartbeat.

OP, I'm with you on emtb's and the power issue. Now, I always say that you can't do a one-size-fits-all in terms of emtb's or anything else for that matter...but...I didn't go to an emtb to not have a bike that has some full potential in the power assist feature. Plus, I'd argue that for many full powered emtb's out there, if you want to do more work, you just lower the assist level. Yes, I know that perhaps some of these lighter, lower powered emtb's are a bit more flickable and such, but as an example of my Trek Rail 7, it seems quite flickable for even some of the tight places I ride which surprised me a bit.

I also considered a Bullit as we're a Trek/Spec/SC dealer, and I've long been an SC fan, having had 3 of them over the years. SC and Trek both have or at least had recent sales on the Bullit and Rail, and I just went with the Rail as the savings were much bigger. I haven't been that impressed with the Trek Fuel E series or the lower powered Spec emtb's, and it mainly revolves around power. I wouldn't be totally shocked if after you ride the Bullit for awhile that your Spec ends up sitting quite a bit...but maybe not. As I said, people are different and desire different experiences with their bikes.

I've already put a coil fork and shock on my Rail 7. I was curious as to which Bullit level you bought and what suspension is on that model. Everything I've seen and read on the Bullit is that it responds really well to coil suspension.

Hydra i9 hubs saint levers magura m5 calipers 40mm rise 800 wide carbon fiber bars, sensus grips range extender my local bike shop doesn’t seem to want to install the 1.2 motor I would have done 1.2 motor but they seem to think it’s not possible I think that just means they don’t want to do it.
