I just bought a Pivot shuttle AM.
Awesome bike, way more fun than my Levo Comp. More power up hill . more nimble downhill and uphill. Just more fun. I ride a lot of rough rocky trails in Colorado. Pivot make it easy and fun.
How does it climb compared to the Levo? What gen Levo do you have?

The bosch motor is more controllable in eMTB mode than Turbo mode on the Levo climbing since the Bosch can ramp to 100% in emtb like turbo but still has low end cranking over obstacle finess whereas the levo can do a burnout. i can say swapping with my friends 2nd gen levo's the bosch has more instant power for technical stuff and it has more run on which is really key to clearing things when you have to ratchet the cranks in rock gardens or in turns

Took a pivot shuttle for a spin this weekend Here in nz .Have an almost new turbo levo. Net result. Trying to sell the levo. Pivot more controllably, more fun, lighter, felt more confident, and found the front end harder to control on the levo and wanting to over correct. Motor less powerful and just didn’t control as well as the Bosch. Now the challenge of selling an almost new levo to buy the pivot.

I wouldn’t bother unless you want to lose a ton of money. My mate has a 2023 Levo Pro that maybe has 150miles on it, he’s down to £5k and still can’t sell it. There’s brand new ones for £6-6500 depending on where you look. The used market is terrible thanks to all the new bike discounts right now.

Demo’d the shuttle am middle spec (Pro X0 Eagle Transmission) . Not sure what you mean by price?

If you are asking about the Levo. Well that's complicated :)

So its a S4 Alloy ( ice blue ) Turbo Levo Alloy

Standard spec but with the following upgrades which were installed from new. I wanted to ohlins model but the coil was not where i wanted to be.

Its done all of 28KM.

Is the shuttle that much better than the Levo? I’ve done a bunch of miles on the Levo comp carbon in UK and alps and thought it was pretty good. My main reason not to buy one is I like the red and my mate has that already (I forgot about the green, which I also like).

imo yes. i found the levo more sketchy on the front end, harder to keep on track, kinda dead feeling, less nimble, and i guess just less fun . i think the bosch motor is better, emtb almost set and forget. cant speak to the carbon models , they may be lighter and not have similar feel to the alloy, but just from my general reading, found a few people who haved switch to shuttle from levo and mentioned similar feelings, guess its a matter of trying one if you can and seeing how you feel. for me the pivot was much nicer ( thats not to say the levo is a bad bike, its not and the motor is good, just not as good as the bosch for controllability. my rear tyre was spinning everywhere as i went up some track where the bosch was smoother power and less wheel spin. i found on some of the down hill the levo was maybe more planted, on drops etc but then thats the weight and i think the fact it feels a bit dead when you want to have fun. )

It’s SO GOOD.

I gambled and ordered one on the basis of review, spec and having ridden the wrong size around a parking lot once. It’s fantastic.
an i ask what it set you back? you got the pro xo model? Size? ( i was s4 on a levo but medium in the pivot )

It was at a significant discount because its ex-demo with ~400miles on it.

It’s a XL pro build in XL. I tried a L in the parking lot and it was a touch short for me. My KSL is a S5 and my Patrol and Spur are XL, but I have done a bunch of riding on a S4 KSL and that works for me too. I definitely feel like XL is the right size in Pivot thou.

Yeah, that’s what I meant. Titanium is the bomb. Well, and the praxis carbon ones too. I just put on the alloy praxis 150’s. Haven’t ridden them yet so we will see how they go.

titanium is another world really, did have alloy and carbon , but titanium is far superior in feeling , if you can afford it , try it.

Exactly how do titanium cranks "feel different" to alloy and carbon fibre cranks?
stiff and flex at the same Time with no vague as opposite to carbon for example, extremely secure feeling in par with the material used, alloy seems like chewing-gum if you permit this comparison
