The fork came stock with one internal volume spacer. No change to travel, just to internal air volume.

allows you to change the amount of mid stroke and bottom out resistance.
If you have set your sag correctly and are using full travel (bottoming out) too

Jumping on the band wagon here. I got the XO package with the T-Type drivetrain, an upgraded X2 shock, and 200mm seatpost for my long legs. I'm really enjoying the bike. The suspension is a little more "lively" than my old Heckler. Yeah, that means I feel the trail more. But it's like a Lexus versus a Porsche. Both have great suspensions, but one is for plushness, one is for better handling. I can hit the chunk fast, but the bike goes exactly where I want it. It wants to jump a little more, and it carves like nobody's business.
The Bosch system is very different than my EP8. It's a "set it and forget it" kind of system. No more having to click the buttons when the trail gets super steep. The Bosch knows what I want and then gives it to me.
Earlier in this thread some guys were talking about the Sport and some other modes. The system comes with six or eight modes for all types of bikes. The Sport mode didn't seem like what I wanted, so I had my shop change the parameters so I have Eco, Tour+, EMTB (short crank), and Turbo. That's Bosch's recommended setup for mountain bikes. The Tour+ and EMTB are "dynamic" and provide power with a bias toward the rider's torque input. You can fine-tune each mode through the app.

Interested in feedback on sizing. Large has a pretty long effective top tube length and 480 reach. Any 5’ 11” or 6ft ( 180-181 cm riders here and what size you riding

5-10 and a 1/2 here on a Large. Seems nimble enough and stable at speed for me. If you need scalpel-like precision, might be better to size down. Two out of 3 of the taller guys on the Yeti enduro team are on mediums. I’ve yet to try a mullet, since cheap used superboost 27.5 wheels are thin on the ground but that would be a way to quicken things up.
I'm 5' 11" and on a Large. It's a perfect fit. There is no way I would go smaller or larger.

on the Facebook "Pivot Shuttle AM" group a couple of people have mulleted theirs. I have a carbon superboost 27.5" rim ready to install on mine, but can't get the Maxxis tire on the deep rim with an insert in.. I need a 2nd set of hands and tools. I'll post back in a month as i want to ride the 29" more.. I thought I would have to mullet it because how could a full 29" turn quickly and I'm shocked at how agile this bike is, but man with the e-bike weight penalty, I have never felt so sore in my bicepts, chest, and core muscles.. omg, but then again I'm going same speed up the long hills as I go down it just mobs the terrain. I also swapped out the fox for 210mm OneUp V3 seatpost which fits perfectly for my 30" inseam on a size Medium.

FYI update your Bosch "Flow" app, as last month there was a new update and new firmware for the Bosch motor, but you want to update the app first. The new update allows a consumer to change the wheel size and swap out the 4 presets on the bike from a whole list of settings. The "AUTO" setting was not provided to use sadly, but apparently your dealer can add it to your bike and is suppose to be even better than the eMTB. It feels even more natural.

I've had mine for 2 weeks now (the Ride model with a 750Wh battery), and I'm enjoying every ride. I've been mountain biking for 30 years, and this is my first (somewhat reluctant) e-bike, but I am quickly coming around and regretting not trying one sooner. It's like I've suddenly discovered the cheat code to my favorite video game.
Like others have said, it's not going to replace my other bikes, but it is a great addition to the quiver. I really appreciate that it helps me get out more, even if I'm not quite feeling it that day, since I know I can control how much effort I put into it but am almost guaranteed to have fun. It's like having a personal tailwind that you can switch on with the push of a button!
And when I am riding, it really feels like I am getting "more smiles per mile". Uphills become faster and way more fun, picking new technical lines becomes less about if I can make it and more about how stylish I can be doing it. Connecting sections for some uphill flow feels like I have superhero legs, and powering through even the steepest sections comes with much reduced risk of hacking out a lung – it's almost like the bike whispers encouraging words as we conquer hills together.
On level sections, there's so much more flow, partially due to the motor, partially because I haven't spent all my energy going uphill (I'm stubborn that way, don't like stopping or resting since that's too close to admitting defeat - but that often means limited juice left after big hills). And on the downhill sections, the extra weight and great suspension keep the bike super anchored and controlled, making me feel like a downhill deity, descending with divine grace (or at least what I imagine that would feel like).
It's not just a great e-bike; it's a great bike!
P.S. On sizing, I am a hair under 6' and have ridden Large sized frame bikes my whole life. I had a great opportunity on a lightly used Shuttle AM but only in Medium. After lots of research it seems that many others on the fence have opted for M over L and now a few weeks in I feel like I made the right call. It just fits and ride so well. (I've also had a few friends in the 6 - 6'2 range try it and none of them guessed or felt that it was a Medium). If you're in doubt, try both sizes and see which matches your riding style best

Following up with obligatory beauty shot, with gratitude for the bike getting me up there and back since there's now way I could have made that ride in up to 3' snow on a non-motorized bike
I was going to say you'd be a great candidate for Pivot's next spokesperson. Then I saw your picture in a frozen wasteland, and concluded you're clearly mad. But a madman on a great bike ain't such a bad thing. You've got good taste in color, too. Mine's the same. I've got to say, this eMTB is by far the best handling bike, E or Amish, that I've ever owned.

Finally got to demo a shuttle am. Thought I was getting the large, rode the bike , loved it other then creaky seat and dropper. Got home to clean it for return and found medium on the frame. So guess I’m a medium as I really loved it. Demo model was the middle model pro xo eagle model.
Seems like no ride Slx models in the country (New Zealand 17k , 15k converted in us) , xo model coming in 6-8 weeks but 23k locally ( us converted is approx 19.5k) . Not sure why we pay 3.5k more for the xo model . Feels like a bit of a raw deal on both price and availability of stock
My question is around the xo model. Is it worth the extra ? What sort of discount are these seeing in the us. And for anyone who switched from a turbo levo ( or Rocky Mountain altitude) how did you find it. Levo ohlins in stock for 1500 cheaper so seriously considering it but did love the pivot ride.

Pivots are just bigger in general, I’ve went down a size in every one of their bikes I’ve ridden.Finally got to demo a shuttle am. IMO, the XO would be worth it as you’re getting the 725wh battery vs the 625wh. As far as discounts go, I’ve not seen any on the Shuttle AM but there’s plenty on the Shuttle SL.

Yes the shuttle lt is heavily discounted here. Trying to decide if I need that extra 100w. If I buy a levo it comes with 700 so only 75w more.
The Shuttle LT is getting an update, I couldn’t pry any details out of the “source” other than it will be Bosch powered.
The Shuttle SL didn’t sell very well due to the Fazua issues. My mate is a Pivot dealer and had to refund/swap a few customers out of that bike, it got so bad that he won’t sell it in his shop anymore.

It's not, only update is new EP801 and lower prices.
Just got my Pivot AM mid tier at 11k.. Best ebike I have ever ridden. I have ridden quite A few of them and have a Levo Comp I gave to my wife. This bike is poppy, snappy and climbs like a beast. I have had a proper downhill sesh yet but I love this bikeSurprised nobody has mentioned this yet, the new Pivot EMTB trail bike is out. Replacing the older AM model interesting to me thats another brand after Canyon & Commencal that has ditched Shimano for Bosch

How is it different than the Levo?
I just got my Pivot AM Team Build, only 1 ride so far but I would agree this might be the best bikes I've ridden. I dialed back the assistance in Sport mode, the factory setting provides to much assistance. This is my second Pivot shuttle (previous was the 2020), and it's a huge improvement over the 2020 model. I won't miss the Shimano motor and constantly peddling home on a dead battery. I kept my analog Santa Cruz hightower and plan on using both. The shuttle is for those epic 40 milers with a lot of climbing.

I'd love to hear how the Shuttle AM rides compared to an analog bike. I don't have an emtb right now but thinking hard about it, the biggest consideration for me right now is how different the bike will feel compared to my analog bikes. I need a bike with lots of range, where I am in western Canada my average ride is over 3300 feet of climbing (a standard loop we do is 525m/1700+ feet of climbing, and we ride that loop a minimum of two times). I would love to be able to get 3-4 loops in to get more downhill riding time, but the feeling of the bike is very important to me.
Thoughts? I realize at 50 lbs it's going to feel different, but I don't know how different.

I have a new Shuttle with the Fox factory suspension. Does anyone have a bad rattling clanking sound coming from there bike? I can’t tell if something is loose or if it’s the Bosch motor. I have had Bosch motors before and it never rattled like this. The sound only comes from when you hit chunk on the trail. Can’t get it to do that in the parking lot test.

I had a weird rattly sound on mine coming from underneath. Turned out to be right underneath. One of my saddle bolts was not tight enough.

I can give a small perspective, I don't own the shuttle am but have a Trek Rail - same motor, similar travel 750 battery and 50.8 lbs.
Compared to my Intense Carbine (170/155), it feel way more planted on the downhills, I don't feel as I can push it as hard in rough terrain though. Of course uphills are far easier. I would test ride any EMTB with 160/150 - 160/160 and see how you feel about the weight. I'm not 100% happy compared to a analog and have been looking at lightweight emtbs
Definitely not saddle bolts I changed out the post to a RockShox Reverb AXS and the noise was there before and after the new seat post. Not sure if it’s the motor, battery, or suspension linkage
My bike makes a low pitched clunking when I'm hitting big chunk at high speed. I don't know if it's from the motor, battery, or fork. It's done it since day-one, and it now has about 475 miles on it. Trying to figure out the exact source is not practical, as my attention is usually focused elsewhere when riding like that. I'm not really concerned, as bikes make noise when you slam 'em hard. Half the time when I ride, my Apple Watch shows a "High Noise Level" alert.

I just bought a Pivot shuttle AM.
Awesome bike, way more fun than my Levo Comp. More power up hill . more nimble downhill and uphill. Just more fun. I ride a lot of rough rocky trails in Colorado. Pivot make it easy and fun.

Probably my dream ebike! Perfect geometry. Medium as a 29er, large as a mullet though probably.

Anyone put a 27.5 wheel on the back yet? Bust another DT Swiss wheel and was considering changing instead of a rebuild again. Was thinking ground clearance on the XO drivetrain an issue as they seem to end up bending the cages even on 29 all the time too
