try it. it suits me much better, I don't have the feeling that the bike is big and it is more agile, and much better grip on the front wheel.
How's the pedal clearance? Do you need shorter cranks? Also makes it lighter (not that it matters) and stronger 27.5 rear wheel 😁

BB is 345-350mm, smaller by 5-7mm.
I drove with 165mm cranks and had no problems, just in case I bought 160mm cranks.
the weight is slightly less, but you can feel that the bike is more agile. I had a wheel and a tire, so I tried it and it turned out well.
before the mullet I had the feeling that there was not enough grip on the front wheel, now it is much better.

I would do it more to drop the head angle, but from what you're saying there are only advantages, thank you 😁

as for the weight, I would try a 500wh battery, saving almost 1.5kg. now my bike is 27 kg with coil shock and enduro inserts in the tires. if I return the air shock, take out the inserts and a smaller battery, I hope that it could support under 25 kg.

I don't know if anyone tried to reduce the weight of the deft a little.

Mine in size M is currently at 26.3 (came with Fox 38s) with the factory DHF on the back, a 1290g Kryptotal on the front and platform SPD pedals. I think it's very difficult to drop the weight too much below 25kg. I did some calculations with lighter wheels, tires, dropper, carbon handlebars, XT cassette, flat pedals and I would lose ~1kg, but with the mullet setup could be even more

Also, do you happen to know what the offset of the chain ring is, I'm looking into an O chain (52/54) and I don't know which to order.
Thank you

New emtb rider here! After who knows how many years riding "normal"? "analog"? mountain bikes, I am just starting to discover what can be done with this new toy!
So far and after just a couple of testing days, super happy with it.
It is very well equipped with first level components and its looks are amazing.
I really didn't know anything about the brand, but comparing it to similarly configured bikes, i dedided to give it a try.
I will share more details once I start riding it more, but so far, wow!!

Welcome to emtb "world". Enjoy it!
Thanks! I'm pretty sure I will, first impression is kind of in between mtb and off road motorbike feeling because of the size and suspension dimensions, and while pedaling, well, you feel like you have superpowers even with lower riding assisting modes. Feels great!
About the radon itself, while setting it up (seat height, handlebar, and small tweaks) and reading the owner manual, it feels very familiar to the existing one for cube bycicle (most significant half has one), so, I'm guessing they can be somehow related.

Easy question, what kind of mudguards are you using if any? I searched for fox 38 specific ones, but it might be overkilling it and maybe any generic one can work for both front and rear. Any suggestions?
