I’ve a 22 Levo alloy comp S3 frame and am considering changing to a 170mm dropper. Has anyone done this or know of what brand would fit without the cable snagging?

I have upgraded from 150 to 170.The cable its ok without any adjustments because i did not get it higher the dropper.
If you want to get higher the stable part of the dropper( the down part) by lift it up ( be careful, always mast be min 10cm inside the tube) then maybe you cannot do it because of the short cable.

Updating this 3ad to ask you helping me choosing between OneUp dropper 180 or 210.

I currently also have a TL Expert in size S3 with original XFusion 150mm dropper. I am 177 and I want to replace it for a longer one for obvious reasons.

I see some of you are running the 180 and 210. This is my current situation:

To work properly with legs extension, I need to have the dropper reaching 26.5cm when fully extended. That means I need an insertion that requires about 11 cm of insertion:

If I buy the 180mm I calculated that I can reduce the insertion of about 3cm, arriving at around 8cm. But if I go for 210 I can insert it completely in by 1 more cm according to what user Hoz showed before.

If you were me, which option would you prefer?
Having 1 more cm of space when saddle is "closed" with a 210 dropper while adding more weight or go for the 180cm?

Will be changing dropper post for a longer one. Is there anything to be concerned about in regards to cable housing when changing? I am thinking to keep original housing and just replace the wire, but might need to pull the housing from the seat tube a bit in order to remove dropper. You just losen bottle cage bolts and pull it? Just want to take extra precautions in order not to mess up the placing of housing and having to re-route it from scratch.

Yes, you can do what you described.

I am going to do it this weekend.

Just finished to install the oneup 210 on my TL S3.
Cable housing not touched. Replaced remote and dropper with new cable.

All fine. Will ride a bit and then will see if I need to reduce the dropper length by 1cm.

Same here, installed 210 oneup and it went well, had to cut the hose only. Was very careful with pulling the housing and it worked fine. Test rode it today and 210 dropper feels amazing, no rattling etc either.
