For anyone thinking about buying one I had a coil and worried it one day snaps so back to air , 210 x55 , no rubbing or issues, not got a RE so not sure about that , haven’t ridden it yet though !?

I fixed something that should work. I lowered the holder. Tried with a Float X from a friend.
Hope to get my Float X soon and that it will fit too.

After fitting an Ohlins TTX22m.2 shock I had the same problem but the other way around, the bottle holder needed to be higher in the frame and closer to the down tube to hold even a 600ml bottle.

So I bought a Specialized Zee Cage II then drilled out 11mm holes so that the holder would fit. Then fitted the holes in the cage over the frame fixing points, then used a couple of short low profile bolts with washers. The Ohlins coil shock just clears the bottle when on full compression.
