So after having a few Polygon Full Squish bikes, i pulled the trigger on the new Mt Bromo N8.

The bike has exceeded all my expectations and the support and the like from Bikesonline, has been nothing short of exceptional.

1) Power assist is all well and good but when you reach 25kph and top out, it's like pushing a tug boat through custard. That may have more to do with my general lack of fitness.
2) 165 mm crank, FTW, feels like I'm on a circuits bike, use to 175mm cranks. Not really an issue just feels different.
3) The reach in large is 490mm but the effective top tube is short, so it feels perfect, was worried a bit as my old bike only had a 460mm reach.
3) 170mm dropper post, perfect.
4) Magic Mary in a DH casing with supper soft soft compound, are supper grippy but have 90% more rolling resistance then Velcro on a blanket.
5) Shimano XT shifting, ORGASMIC compared to the GX sram.
6)You can literally wheelie it for hours.
7) Even though it weighs more than most mountains, it's supper nimble and poppy.
8. )The head scratching six bar suspension design is simply sublime, zero pedal input or pedal bob, amazing.
9) The fox 38 is supper stiff fork, feels like you could chuck it down any mountain and it would not even notice.
10) The 2021 fox X2 shock is amazing and buttery smooth. Have to figure out how to set it up properly, wayyyyy to many knobs.
11) Its a plough machine down hill and I mean that, point and go and pray to god your eyeballs can keep up.
12) The issue of the cable rub which has been noted of a few reviews has been addressed.

I have has a couple of minor issues with the components, mainly the shimano brakes failing, and got replaced so all good.

Also, the rear wheel hub, being the Silent XT hub drivethingamabob, which i sublime in feel, kept on failing. So Bikesonline sent a different hub (non XT) and gave store credit for wheel rebuild.

My experience for what it's worth since I'm in the US. I got an N7 back in July. Purchase experience is about the same as any other major online retailer in 2021 which is to say pretty easy. Shipped in a reasonable time - I think it took a day or two. They packaged it better than any other bike I've received in a cardboard box. Love the bike and geometry. Suntour Durolux fork really is fantastic. Damper had and issue and they (Suntour) warranty replaced it with the higher end version with high/low speed compression and rebound adjust. The Fox rear shock has a slow air leak but that's a Fox issue. I would buy another Polygon and from BikesOnline again.

Good to know. The bike looks like a great option. Have you tried to remove the battery? A friend was considering one but he thought he'd like 2 x 500w batteries
