Hello all.

My 2021 giant trance just shut off mid ride yesterday and won't turn on at all.
I have a spare controller nothing tried a spare battery nothing.
I have ordered a new cable from the control so will Try that.

The bike is a spare bike so only used it in the dry and done about 350 miles from new.

Anyone had this happen before.

Thank you

Yes mine is the same year and doing the same thing. You'll see my posts on the other two threads about the issue.

Have you tried riding it and turning it back on? I have a Giant Trance X Adv E+1 (2023) and it bricked itself. It turned on for me. I will do a post soon.

Yes doesn't switch on when riding it. I have a new handlebar Control and ordered a new main wiring harness from motor to the handle bar controls, new battery discharge connector as my original one is worn, new Ant+ transmitter/receiver( as that talks to the Controls) and had my motor sent away for an overhaul. Should have everything later this week to put it all back together again and see if that fixed it. This way all is new except the motor. The people who overhauled the motor said no signs of mud on control boards but the crankshaft did have rust on it and the bearings were rough which indicates that moisture did get in. Hopefully with the new bearings and seals and motor sealed again it will all be good.
So never wash your bike with a pressure washer. My bike is second hand bought from a cycle adventure park and they wash them with a pressure washer.
