Levo SL Gen 1 2021 alu or 2020 carbon

hello everybody and happy Christmas ?

still thinking about purchasing a Levo sl

which would you pick out off

2020 carbon for £5995

or

latest 2021 alloy version for £5250

from what I can see the only spec difference is the alloy has RE brakes where the Carbon has R but I would change the brakes anyway

which would you choose from the above and if possible a reason why

Not really, but think how much money you have to spend on lighter parts to get off that one kilo

My riding buddy manages a bike shop , he went alloy, he said to me he would only buy a carbon bike if he had the spare cash for a replacement frame!

I didn't. Very happy with the alloy SL.

And as I've said before, the idea of carbon fibre as a frame material doesn't sit well with me anyway.
