Thinking about a 2020 Comp too ! The storm grey one looks amazing ! Sizing ? At 5ft 9.5 I’m between M and L..... any views ? Local shop doesn’t yet have stock to try....

I don’t get why my LBS sent a sales guy to the presentation of the new Kenevo last Monday and it is not presented at Eurobike. Maybe they wait for the last day for a grand finale.

Yes. Really hoping for 29 front and 27,5+ rear. Ride my Levo that way and it is great.

If it is a 27,5 how do you think it would be to run a 29 wheel front?

Probably fine. Run a typical 2.5 inch up front on 29 and 2.4 on 650b up back and the geo is back to square one as far as bottom bracket height. Get approx 0.75 deg slacker head angle.

I really don’t gel with the feeling of plus sized tyres that ebikes use so frequently. I need to run pressures too high to stop burping them which negates the benefits of a high volume Tyre. 2.4 - 2.5 with a cushcore is a better option for me.

Why did you spend the extra 1500$ over the base model? Is it the looks, the battery or the suspension?

I’m still hesitating between the two as it feels like the base became quite robust in this new 2020 itaration.

I had an 18 base model which I upgraded a bit and loved it... the main reason I upgraded was because I was able to do so relatively cheaply and I was starting to push the limits of the 500 watt battery.

I'm 5'10'' and have been riding medium frame Specialized for a while and I'm pretty happy...

Do you notice a big different in the handling of the ‘20 vs the 18? I’ve got an 18 and am considering upgrading.

Does anyone know how to find the pairing code on the 2020 Levo? I did it in the store with my old bike and was rushing when I picked up this one so we didn't do it this time!

Great choice in both the Comp and the color (assuming you mean the Storm Grey which is really a teal blue). I saw the actual color in real life on a Stumpy at my LBS, and if I had gotten a Comp that is probably the color I would have gotten. I ended up getting an Expert, but as John knows I spent a long time debating between the Comp and the Expert. The Comp is such a great combination of things with great specs and a great price.

Enjoy your new ride!!

Thanks to coggbike turning me on to his LBS, my Comp should be here in the next few days.

Cogg, Your Expert Sage Green is sweet!!, would be my choice if available on the Comp.

John, glad I could help! Did Lars say when they would be able to get the pro build done on your bike?

BTW, my Expert supposedly shipped end of last week. So not too far behind your bike.

Yeah I’m really excited about the Sage Green. For some reason I was trepidatious about the color at first. But now I’m jazzed about it.

The code should be on a sticker, on the TCU.
You just remove the screw at the top and carefully lift it out.

Or the sticker is usually then transferred into the back of owners manual.

Last Thursday I asked my LBS, Bicycle Chain in Taunton, SW UK, to get me a Levo Comp in Taupe/Voodoo Orange. Specialized reckoned available end of Sep, but the Manager (I think) said he'd see what he could do. I had a phone call 10 mins later to tell me it would be in next day. We had a look on the box and found that the frame had already had some protective tape applied - bonus - they will check before the build what areas could do with some more, and if needed try and get a part set from Invisiframe. I'm starting to like that shop more and more.

I'm new to the forum and don't know what a "pairing code" is? Can someone briefly enlighten me?

The Pairing code is a code that provides unauthorized access to the Levo by a third persons MC-App. This special code is fixed to the Levo and will be checked before pairing with bluetooth.

Here are some more porn pics of my brand new 2020 Comp, now that I've put my pedals, grips, fender and bell on it... Also grip tape on the levers... This is after my first (easy) ride, I did ten miles and used about 25% of the battery, riding in turbo and trail a lot. I broke my ribs last week so I'm taking it easy... I'm not crazy about the 29's.... I'll try to adapt but have a feeling I'll be going back to 27.5s. The only other thing that was negative is that the motor is definitely noisier than my 2018 was. I loved the total stealth mode of the 18... c'est la vie... I love it!

Thanks for that info as I'm about to pull trigger on 2020 TL comp.

My Badass Black Comp went into QC late last night (Saturday), I plan on driving tomorrow to pickup. Can't wait to saddle up for first ride!

That's great! I'm jealous :) But mine won't be too much longer I think.

One thing, per some posts above, make sure you don't leave the shop without knowing what your pairing code is for connecting the Specialized Mission Control app or BLevo!! I've read about this being an oversight before where it wasn't written down and the sticker with the code wasn't stuck into the manual like shops are supposed to do. Probably best to set up Mission Control before you leave the shop just to be sure all is OK.
