R120 is wise and knowledgeable. As he has proven in previous posts he has not been affected by "Internet Pornography" and it's effects on the brain (as previously scientifically and factually discussed in previous threads - you'd have to search as I'm too dumb to remember where)..... It's an infinite loop ....

More importantly, did he reply to the chap who asked about changing his vitus to 180 from 170 ?

I forgot to answer that chap, mainly because I have answered that question about 4 times in the last month!

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the 2020 Levo just incorporate all the running upgrades/recalls on the 2019, have a few minor component spec changes, and colour changes? Cant remember which thread it was in but someone posted the specs for all next years Levos a while back.

Thats true!

Hah! So after all that, same bike but with the 700wh battery...I’ll have to see what the upgrade price is as the extra range would be useful based on the test ride I did. It felt like you could easily ride all day ??

700wh battery is worth the price and a game changer for me! Only the battery costs about 1300€ in Germany

I have just bought a Levo expert M for £ 6150 (retail at £ 7250), I was lucky, they wanted get ride the last one that color and size. The 2020 Levo is basically the same expect colors and fork.

Same price in France. Wonder if alloy is "better" than carbon. We have only rocks here in south of France, so i'm scared for carbon frame... What a shame the comp is not set with Fox components!

Do you remember the color for the comp?
Anyway, viele Dank für all diese Klarstellungen, mein Deutsch freund!

I went for a Levo Expert because of the 700Wh battery, I am also scared of carbon frame, but I have never heard anyone having issues with them.
I wanted to get an alloy and buy a 700Wh battery, but with a good discount....

I think nowadays, with the kind of choice people have as well as info online it makes absolutely no sense. I get it there is a motor and all and it should be more expensive than a normal bike, but now they are just ridiculous.

For what it's worth, I'm far from well off and I'm getting a Levo on the Green Commute Initiative.

I've visited a load of bike shops and talked to loads of bike shop owners about the current ranges and the upcoming 2020 bikes - Whyte/Focus/Cube/Scott etc.

I've decided on the Levo because I know that I'll get good service from my chosen bike shop should I have an issue. It's a bit further away than some others but I just didn't get a great feeling about most of the closer ones. So, the extra money is worthwhile for my peace of mind.

It's the easy choice. A mate is currently shopping for an ebike, it's really difficult figuring out what to buy.

Expert also comes with upgrades! They fixed the noise problem with the engine! The added more space on the rear motorplate/back frame part! So the mud or dirty problem is finally over! Also on top of the rear shock/ frame part! More space!

Can you explain that please? What do you mean with more space on the Backplate? Is it possible to update that also on the 19 Version?

I'm still looking for an ebike. I'm fed up going up hill with my electric mates, and being dead when we go downhill... clearly, it's not fun anymore.

I still don't know what to choose. So many of you are happy with the Levo, even with the poor components on it: full Specialized component (stem, handgrip, hub, wheel, vaseline), but high price. However, I'm still attracted by this bike, because of his good reputation. And of course, because I have a local dealer near me. Even if I'm not buying a bike to be broken in 3 months... and I do all the routine and fixes on it all by myself.

I'm still hesitating with the YT Decoy, which is top notch regarding the components: Renthal cockpit, Di2, carbon, etc... Don't know what to do at the moment.

one of my mate is looking to buy the homeless-man-version at 4500 euros. If 'im buying a comp carbon too, do you think I can have a great deal on it? Should I wait for the new model?

I'm lost, like a French in front of a Marmite bowl.
