2020 Rockshox Lyrik clicking sound?

Bought a 2nd hand bike with these forks on, was only able to do a short test ride on a flat area so didn't notice it at the point of sale but the forks make clicking sound every so often, pretty sure it happens when they are compressed and it doesn't happen ever time they are compressed, just sometimes and it's a definite click not a creak so pretty sure it's not headset related.

Anyone have any idea what it is, is it a DIY fix or would a bike shop be able to sort it fairly easily?

I'll try letting the air out later and possibly removing them from the bike to see if I can replicate the sound.

I assume I have no warranty as I'm not the original owner and don't have the original purchase receipt so don't mind paying for them to be fixed but would like a quick fix so want to go into the bike shop already armed with knowing what the problem is if possible.

Weirdly I can't replicate it in my garage while bouncing around on the bike or even out in the street hopping up and down curbs, it only seemed to do it while actually riding off road 🤔 I've emailed my local suspension place so I'll see what they come back with.

My TCU is on the bars (Purion) but good idea about cables, I'll look in to that a bit more.

Forks clicking when under pressure off-road is often a sign that you need to clean and grease the headset bearings. Muck and grit gets into the lower race, just wiping it clean and reapplying some clean grease will normally sort it out. (I don't mean dismantle the cartridge bearing, just clean the outside of it and the frame race where it sits).

Well that won't hurt either so I'll do that too.
