Damn, wish I'd not cut mine down now ! Thanks for coming back. Good to know it fits without trimming.

Yeah maybe with 27,5 as escrs says but as far as i know with 29 and the eleminate tyrer back it wont fit:

Plenty of clearance with 27.5 tyres, not tried it with the 29ers as i took them off as soon as i got the 2020 Levo

I´m also searching for a solution but did not came across one.

Little update on my setup running 27.5 wheels

Still have the mudhugger xl front guard fitted to the rear which protects all the motor etc.. on full compression but now ive added a mudhugger 29er to the frame (sits on top/overlaps the xl front guard) so now have full protection on the rear end (ooohhheeerrr)

Looks ugly as hell but i have a clean back and bike, plus when riding it behind me so i dont see it

I had the twin mucky Nutz in there but the Sicomtb guard is by far the best.
With a 27.5/2.6 tire I had 20mm space between the Tyre and guard.

I managed to fit the sico guard with the original 2.6 eliminator on a 2020 levo, its very tight but possible.
The issue i had is that you have to leave off the small specialized cover and on my first ride it filled the gap with stones/grit etc. You could stick some foam in i guess but i've took the guard off and i've bought a front mudhugger to put on the rear.

Some fettling may be required, but I think its a good starting point :)

Rear mudhugger fitted & sicomtb guard beneath . Mudhugger protects seat tube area & linkage but mud still gets up your back & covered on top of guard surprisingly.Still more of a concern could be water getting to crank bearings.

What is on your shock to protect it and what stand are you using? both look good.

I fitted a Crud XL on the front and a MudHugger Front (with the nose cut off and tail extension) with a Mucky Nutz Face Fender on the rear.

The Face Fender was cut to form the lower rear section.

Front provides good bike+rider protection, rear provides good bike protection but zero rider protection.

This is on a 2019 Kenevo, but using a trimmed mudhugger front on the rear. As mentioned by others, it greatly helps keeping the linkages and bike cleaner, but does nothing for the rider. If I'm not in the mood to get soaked, or when it's really really wet, I clip on a cube rear guard - which looks crap - but reduces rider soakage.

Great Solutions guys, lovely bikes too. I've just fitted the Crud XL, I like the coverage and the fork leg protection. It should be interesting to see Mudhugger coverage when arrives.

Rear stand had to be shortened to fit between tyre & mudhugger rear guard but no issue without. Shock is covered by (Lizard skins rear suspension boot protector).

Just fitted the Sicomtb to my 2020 expert. I had to cut the side mounts from the lower section as the wheel would not turn at first (standard 2.6 eliminator). Its pretty solid just with the 2 central cable ties and has pretty good clearance now. I also used some smaller ties than the included ones for this part as there was so little room. Only issue is how the cable ties are causing the rubber pivot guard to bunch up a little but hopefully its better than the 3 inches of crunchy nut trail butter that usually builds up every ride ?

Fitted mine sicomtb guard a week ago expensive but think its the best option out there?

Mine was touching on the standard 2.6 Eliminator tire couldn't quite see where but it was ever so slightly could barely hear a the rub? My compromise was to fit a smaller tire all good now and plenty of clearance now(y) I think the smaller tire option is the way forward reckon if you hit some of that sticky mud it won't take much to build up and become a pain the ass :cautious:;)

First picture shows the template I made (laid over a spare enduroguard large). The holes allowed it to fit on the outside of the brace to give more room. I also trimmed it at the back edge so that it fitted better. I did have the option of threading it a bit further down (between the tyre and the lower arm) to try and cover more of the gap, but it got very close to the tyre then

This picture shows my bike after a wet ride last weekend, the guard definitely stopped some dirt, but you can see that a lot of water / dirt still hit the rear of the motor area

I’m intrigued by that. I fitted a large enduroguard the opposite way round In the hope that the bendy lip on the front would deflect a bit away from that ledge. I don’t think it achieves much but does keep some of the crud away from the linkage and the seat clamp at least.

Needed more coverage for a wider 26" x 3" Dirt Wizard I'm using this winter so I made a diy fender out of plastic sheet for the lower part that is wider and extends more below the chainstays to help keep mud and water out of the motor. This helps keep mud out of the two bolts that hold the cover on and the gap next to them leading into the motor.

Instead of attatching the zip ties to the chainstays I was able to get them around the bridge behind the bottom bracket.

It also extends up a little higher to make sure no mud gets through the gap when the shock is bottomed out.

Still has plenty of clearance with the stock tires. The Ass Savers front fender that I used for the upper part doesn't go high enough to keep mud off the top of the seatpost, but that is my only complaint. I also had to use gorilla tape at the bottom of it to cover the gaps and make it a little longer.

The cost for me was less than $5, so the main investment is time. I started off big and trimmed it down with scissors after I tightened it on with zip ties. So far I've been happy with it and it does a great job of keeping the mud shelf and pivots behind the bottom bracket clean. The holes for the zip ties on the bottom part need to be slightly offset because the chainstays bridge slopes up slightly on the drive side.

I experimented with a coupke then settled on this...a zefal mudguard for front or rear set up fir frobt but used at rear with a diy 2mm rubber flap. Seems to work a treat...doesnt keep all the mud out but most

Sorry... forgot to spellcheck the last post.. i would add that it also keeps mud off the seatpost... and mine doesnt pop up every time when muddy so that was a big + for me.... I still get v muddy though!

I've been using a SICOMTB dual Guard, with great success. I have a 2.6" WTB Vigilante in the back and it works great. Only once, a couple of weeks ago, when we ended up in total mud has it clogged, and anything would have clogged. Great piece of gear.

I have a 2019 Turbo Levo and just got back from my local loop ride of 18 miles (as you can see from the picture it is a touch muddy out there...).

I have put a Mudhugger large rear mudguard on my bike and the excellent Central Coast Bikes rear mudguard. Just thought I would show you my results and yes the Mudhugger looks a bit silly but I don't care as I cant see it when I am peddling! :D (And i will remove it IF better weather ever arrives in the UK...)

I have found these two items brilliant - it virtually stops mud going down between the bottom arm and the motor housing. I would recommend them both.

One more thing massive shout out to @Will Hesch I bought one of his original Central Coast mudguards but then it became superseded and he sent me a new one free of charge! Now that is customer service - anyway on with the pictures...

The mudhugger front on the rear fits on my 2020 Levo Turbo Comp with no trimming. Might be because mine actually came with 2.3 rear tires?
