So far what I've seen not a massive amount of changes. The main one for me tho would be battery size. Seen 19 comps around £4500-4600 now and people mention the new comp will be around 5600 and have the 700watt battery tho for that price I should be able to pick up a 19 with the 500watt and buy a 700watt to go along with it giving me 1200watts. Anyone heard of any other major changes that would make u wait?

Biggest difference for me between the two is the 700 battery but I'm planning to get one anyway. Change to the 2.3 rear tyre might be worth a look too, doesn't take long for the mud to build up in the back with a 2.6

as you've identified, it comes down to how much you want the 700Wh battery vs riding now.

you can get a '19 Carbon Comp for £5k-ish if you look about.

Yeah, you can pick up 20% off 2019 Levo's right now which means you can go out and buy a 700wh battery and still be evens compared to buying a 2020 bike.

This is what I've just done, will pick up the 700wh at some point because I want two batteries for some big days.

Do you need a 700Wh battery? You may be surprised how far a 500Wh will take you. Why buy and maintain (between 30-60% charge) a spare battery you don't use? Okay, 700 is 40% more than 500. Remember, you can always upgrade battery, forks and anything else later. Don't waste your money on upgrading stuff without first trying it as is.

If you fancy carbon, or prefer the colour of the comp carbon, buy it. That model is being discontinued and so once sold out it's gone; so it might hold it's value better.

The bigger battery was a big part of my decision to go Levo, I was allowed to chop my battery in at the shop & upgrade. Have experienced too much range anxiety on my shimano bike, not to go big!

Seen the comp carbon for £5,098.99. My lbs is still 5000 for the alu comp. Spoke to a guy in a different shop yesterday he reckons most places won't even discount the alu comp as they haven't much left in stock and if they do it won't be by much

I had same dilemma; to buy 2019 or wait for 2020 model.

Alloy Comp
By my opinion it is wiser to wait for 2020 model. You have to calculate the cost of 700wh battery into 2019 model, which is almost 25% of the Comp list price! So 2019 model should be discounted for more than 30% to have comparable specs with 700wh battery. Can you get such discount at the moment? I'm not sure.

Carbon Comp
There is only one 2020 carbon frame Levo left (beside ridiculously expensive S-works), the Expert version. Comp Carbon is presumably out for 2020 and the 2020 Expert has estimated price of 8299€ and just marginally better specs than 2019 Comp Carbon (beside battery and fork).
2019 Comp carbon with at least 15% discount + additional 700wh is very interesting alternative, almost 1300€ cheaper than 2020 Expert list price. So by my opinion, discounted 2019 Comp Carbon + 700wh is better buy than 2020 Expert and there is still some money left for your favorite fork.

I wanted carbon instead of alloy frame, so I choose 2019 Comp Carbon + 700Wh + Fox36 factory for better price than 2020 Expert. The fact I can ride it today is additional bonus!

BTW is anybody interested in never used FOX 34 Rhythm E-bike, GRIP damper, 29" Boost™, 150mm fork? :D

It does not seems to be mentioned or considered in the debate about which battery size to get, that the 700 battery weighs 700g more than the 500. If your rides seldom need more than 500 battery then one is simply carting around extra weight for most of the time. If I’m going on a ride that I know will use all my battery (I ride a kenevo in turbo most of the time (I like to get up hills as quickly as possible!) I’ll take a charger, pop into a cafe or pub for a coffee and a half an hour charge which will get me home. Obviously, if you ride in areas where there are no possibilities to re-charge and go on really long rides then one needs a big battery or carry a spare, but I wonder how often this is often the case.

The 2020 alloy comp will also have RS Lyrik Select RC (insted of RS Revelation) fork, that's stiffer than the revelation and can be internally upgraded to a Lyrik Ultimate changing the damper (the revelation can be updraded to a Pike) and RS Deluxe Select+ Shock (insted the Deluve RT), it's not only the battery...

I see a lot of places now have the 2019 expert down to £6100 and there abouts with the 2020 alloy comp being around £5650 makes the 2019 expert a bargain at that price

My mate paid £5099 for the comp carbon about 3 weeks ago from primera-sports.com. You’ll need to strip and rebuild it, or he had to anyway, or ask for it boxed. A fair few bits were loose etc.

2020 S-Works for US $2790 in stock at bicycleworks.com hmmm...
Looks like a convincing website but... Too bad they are located in Indonesia or I'd drop by their store an pick one up in person or heck for that price maybe two or three. ;)
