Nope, still don’t understand ?‍♂️Perhaps you can enlighten us.
Because I really do want to understand.

If you accurately (not made up over a beer) know of other distances of friends/family and likewise - failures include that also.

The first post i made on this thread were about my Haibike/Yamaha, the other is not my bike. I think mine is about 3,475kms now

I ignored him at first but then I felt left out at the comments towards an imaginary person I couldn’t see so I un ignored him. Now I just find him comical.
It does make everyone else's posts seem really really bizarre - especially as it also removes what they've quoted ! OK, I shall try the "it's amusing" technique instead ..

I was just told by the Specialized HQ that the latest update has been causing issues to motor and batteries. He wouldn’t update mine because of this.
Said it should be fixed in the next couple weeks.

Oh ok, So...and please correct me if I am wrong.
Your bike a Haibike with Yamaha electric motor has done 3475k.
And your “friend” on his Yamaha bike has done 21000km, and it’s still not blowing smoke.
My boat with a Yamaha outboard has done only 120hrs. It goes good as a Yamahahahahaha can go.

Yamaha’s are just great ain’t they ?

Yamaha 2017, original battery and motor, 21,000 kilometers. Works just fine
Ok Red, if you're saying this is a serious statement and not a joke. I'm not here to say what is and isn't possible, but if this is correct it's obviously interesting to know. For such a grand claim, I think it requires some photographic evidence ?

Well i allmost said trust me but you can have doubts.
The thing is a 30,000 kms trouble free car used to be normal.
A motorcycle is just smaller.
An Ebike again smaller.
Yamaha was first in the Electric motor for 2 wheels.
They know what they do.
I have read 2016 Yamaha owners saying their expectations were more than met.
This is real thing, you decide but i was not jocking, i would not have posted BS.
With new players people think it is new but look around the world lots use motorcycles that are decades old. Ebikes are plenty. Many cars are over 30 years old..
In rich countries marketing give the impression new is better, well not allways.
I have a link to my Ebike when he was new, now it is not that clean. It is the same year but different model that has more mileage https://winora-group.com/manuals/2017/specs/HAI_sduro_specs/HAI_SDURO_hardseven_60.pdf

Just to be clear - Yamaha invented the Pedal Assist system ... not the first electric bicycle motor.
I thought the Tandem was the first pedal assist system. The e-bike was just a step along the road for people with no super fit friends who were willing to help them up hills.

Yes, but you can see that I was running cut down bars to counter that by minimising frontage and being more aero ;-)

Is there any truth in the rumours that you've been heavily investing in beer over the years purely to create a more egg shape/aerodynamic physical profile for these high speed moments ?

My Yamaha Pwx just exploded big time....

And when I say Yamaha, I mean Brose, and when I say Exploded, I mean, there is slight bearing noise and play.
So just dropped it in for a warranty replacement motor, no questions asked. ?

Well it has done 6933km of Stella service and has been through thick and thin. Just thought i’d get it in while it’s still under warranty.
Recon it be good for 7000km at least, probs could of added a couple of thousand more km without too much trouble.
Just a bit of noise in the bearing whilst back pedaling ?‍♂️

Busted ! :) I was actually trying to activate the reversing warning beep at the time, that doesn't work either ..
I’ll ask the the replacement motor has the reverse beeper hooked up. I really don’t know why they don’t do this at the factory ?‍♂️....

If you could spin the motor backwards whilst back pedaling ? it would generate power, so I don’t know why they put a stupid sprag clutch in the Brose to stop this. ?‍♂️

If we had to back pedal to charge the battery, nobody would accuse an ebiker of being lazy ever again. ?‍♂️

My '19 Levo blew up @ 4 months/1200 miles in. Sounded like a box of rocks. Luckily was only about a mile from an alt park exit, but six miles from home. Son and truck to the rescue. First time ever for the rescue of shame....boo...

Major back order on motors apparently. 10 days later I have a whole new bike..no questions asked. Was just about to change the chain, cassette and brakes. Lol

Say what you will, but that's taking care of business on their end. (y)
