2019 Merida E160 Chainring size question.

Hi everyone,
I currently have a 2019 Merida E160 900 E , with an alloy frame. I am currently going to upgrade the motor to an EP8 , and i was wondering , what is the best sized Chainring to fit and what is the maximum size i can fit ? ( 36t , etc.)

Any thoughts and advice on this would be greatley appriciated

Don't be dismayed by the apparently unfriendly response. To be of assistance, someone has to have/had the same bike and the technical knowledge. I took a look because I have a Merida E160, but when I read your post, it's not only a different bike, but I didn't believe that I could answer your specific question.

So, I'm not ignoring you, I just can't help. Would you feel better if you had received a stream of "sorry, I can't help" responses?

I took a look because I have a Merida E160, but when I read your post, it's not only a different bike, but I didn't believe that I could answer your specific question.

Same here. I have a much newer E160. So I pointed him to Shimano.
