2019 Kenevo Fox 40/49 blacked out build

So I purchased a Kenevo Expert Black 2019 9/17/18 and parts have started to arrive today for the bike.

First item up is the fork. What a beauty.

Al it will kinda be like that but have a bit more bling. He also used a fox 40, I’m using a fox 49 boost with a 20mm hub. So we both ran across some build issues. I don’t think I’m doing DM either. To harsh on the feed back imo. More photos on the way today

Here is my inspiration for my new Blackout project. The McLaren Sworks Tarmac 80 of 250. I like to customize little things, like lightweight bar tape, end caps, swapping wheels and tires etc. I’m really anticipating both bikes looking similar in color specks and style. Thanks for the positive comments so far.

Final touches coming along, Gold Revgrips ( thanks to Brandon At revgrips) gold spacers and cap, gold chain, carbon Pro chain guard and the WU is going in the trash !!!

Why the 49? 40 fits just fine with 27.5s, unless your running 29s that I missed?

It was direct plug and play with an adapter and hub build, lol The 40 was an option but required a different wheel set per the rep, and was a 203mm not 200mm rotor. I just told the shop what I envisioned and they made it come to life.

At the end of the day it’s the same looking fork. And I’m happy ?

Really needs a direct mount stem. Nothing looks worse then a normal stem on triple crown forks to me. Looks like a Halfords special. ?

My guess 52lbs

Shocks use air. And are really quite perfect ? I’m blown away with this bike.

So I have a stupid question. The orange Fox stickers don’t go with the bike. Do I sport them with pride, or give in to my OCD and take them off for a clean look?

Bike looks great! Let us know how it is climbing with the dual crown fork. To elaborate I am curious if it affects negotiating tricky areas with the limited sweep.

Also you can get custom Fox stickers. Just google or maybe someone will chime in. You've gone this far might as well go the extra mile.

took her on some hard climbs ( 500ft to 1700 ft) and single track yesterday here in socal. the limit turning is new to me and ill have to learn to deal with it, but its not bad just not sharp like my 29er fox 36 fork. If I use my body more to turn the bike it helps move the front end.

it is slower than the levo on the climbs but only by seconds so not like I care about strava any how. it gets up hills with bad rocky bits better than the levo hands down and bombs down hill with precision soaking up bumps so well I hit one at speed and almost went over the bars. had I been on the levo id have a hurt head today. I had a levo for 2 weeks and rode the snot out of it so im not just saying this out of my arse.

My vote is for looks and to remove the stickers

Some alternatives here but I don't think you would need them! Fox 49 Fork Stickers 2018
